This could be a bug or a glitch, but luckily, it has an easy fix. Before moving forward with the puzzle solution, it is worth knowing that other Treasure Vaults feature similar puzzles. If you learn how to solve this one, you’ll most likely manage to solve every Treasure Vault Puzzle featuring Stone Pillars with arrows on them. Unlike other Hogwarts Legacy Treasure Vaults, this one features several stone pillars with arrows engraved on them, each pointing in a different direction. So, if you don’t know how to solve the Stone Pillar puzzle in Feldcroft and how to properly place the Cube on it, chances are you won’t be able to get the Treasure Chest.
To collect the Xerxes Coin, drop into the pit east of the Chakram-activated gate that leads to the Lower City. Once in the spike-filled lower level, jump and dash to the left where you’ll find a waterfall and Spirited Sand Jar 2 if you haven’t opened it yet. The first Xerxes Coin in the Hyrcanian Forest can be earned by defeating the Lost Warrior, Khosrow, as part of The Lost Warriors Side Quest. After accepting the Side Quest, drop to the bottom of the water-wheel area depicted on your map. Once on the lower level, head left and use a heavy attack to slash through the vine-covered doorway with a heavy attack.
While going that way, you should see the familiar white marker on the wall, which marks the entrance to a small cave. You will likely need a small animal (or a small object) to get into the cave, then you’ll need an explosive item to destroy the cracked wall. The treasure will be right behind this wall, which will net you the Spider (face paint), the next map and the red stripes key. After the previous chest, make your way to the Gwa Dock on the northwestern side of Madra Noj, then fast travel to the Meelo Dock on the opposite side of the island.
In order to enter the Hedge Maze to search for rewards, you’ll need to earn three Carnival Tickets first. You shouldn’t have to expand your campfire too many times to reach where the Carnival games are, but due to how the map always changes, we can’t guarantee this. It only took us two or maybe three times before we could reach the Carnival and Haunted Maze.
Feldcroft Region Treasure Vault 1
Find the ladder in the hallway where you originally found the blue box and climb up. Return to the blue block and use it to hoist yourself up to the next level, where you can continue pushing the red box down the hall until it locks into place. Use it to climb up and take a right at the end of the hall. Unlock the door (ignore the eye for now) and walk down the twisted corridor. Exit the room with the first treasure chest through the other door. You now have access to the vault in the southeast corner of the base.
